“When it comes to dedication, ICTS is second to none. Our study was in crisis mode. Everything we tried had failed. ICTS developed a novel approach to physician referral that prevented yet another round of adding investigators.”

It occurred to us that we should provide a few little known facts about ICTS and our passion for clinical research.

  1. Each member of ICTS management team has first hand insight into clinical trials, each having participated in at least one clinical research study in phases 2-4.
  2. We have worked with our own physicians to engage them in clinical research, 3 of which are now heavily involved.  ICTS management has donated time to work at these sites to learn the true nature of study coordinators' daily activities and the challenges sites face in patient recruitment, enrollment, retention and adherence.
  3. We are caregivers and advocates, constantly searching for clinical research opportunities for friends and family, conducting extensive research and passing along useful information.

Each of our management team's personal experiences have added to our deep knowledgebase and empathetic approach to site initiatives and communication.

So, to those just entering this field, to our colleagues, to our family, friends and associates we leave you with this 3 pronged doctrine established at ICTS inception, which we refer to as the three B(e)s.

  1. Be a subject
  2. Be a clinical research advocate
  3. Be a caregiver

Once you've embraced clinical research from a patient, site and caregiver perspective your recruitment and enrollment activities will take on a whole new meaning.
